Vanessa Jaramillo, M.S CCC-SLP, is a bilingual (Spanish & English), licensed and board certified Speech Language Pathologist with 4 years of experience working with pediatrics and adults servicing in Broward county and Miami-dade county areas. She has worked in a variety of settings such as in the school system, daycares, private practice clinics, hospitals, and outpatient rehabilitation facilities. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), where she upholds the Certificate of Clinical Competence, and is a licensed clinician in the state of Florida.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from University of Central Florida in 2016; and her Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Albizu University in 2021.
She is skilled in conducting evaluations and treatment for individuals from pediatrics (birth-17 years of age) to adults (18-65 years and 65 and older) populations with disabilities such as Autism, Down Syndrome, Stoke, Traumatic Brain injury, Dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, Aphasia, voice disorders, language disorders, speech sound disorders, and feeding/swallowing disorders. Vanessa is certified in LSVT LOUD (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment), an evidenced-based treatment utilized for individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions that impact vocal loudness and clarity.
She is not only dedicated her career to help children and adults with their speech, language, cognitive, swallowing, voice, and social difficulties; but also provide education and training to their families and caregivers on ways to address these concerns by giving them the necessary tools to maximize and carryover skills.
